Back in San Francisco, my friend and I decided to eat like kings and queens. Not exactly pigging out, (although the sushi place we ate that had sushi floating on boats made me feel that way.) but we decided to be like Anthony Bourdain and eat at restaurant that he ate at. As you can see down below he was there and took photos and signed an autograph. Actually, I found out before we left that Andrew Zimmerman ate here too.
Onto the food!! We love Korean food. Gotta admit they gave us a lot of pickled vegetables and the food was amazing. It wasn't crowded and service was good. We had dok boki which is rice cakes stewed in spicy sauce, bim bap, and some kind of soup with a lot of meat. It was so good. Flavor was delicious. You can tell it's homemade. I can't wait to come back and eat there again. The food was pretty normal price for Korean food. Thing that made us impressed was the tea. The wheat tea was heated and it tasted good! I'm impressed by the photos I got was able to get. Details were all there and just the richness of the food was there. I hope you guys get hungry over it. Enjoy To Hyang whenever you're out there in the Bay Area.
