I'm a Gentleman

That's what Psy says in his latest music video. Now Gangnam Style got old for me really fast, but I couldn't wait to hear him again. Why? Isn't it obvious? He's not the typical K-pop artist. Not as young, not as fit. Still stylish I have to admit. For a man wearing harem pants he pulls it off well. Point being is that because his image isn't a priority Psy really focuses on his music. It's fun, playful and very funny.

Now in this music video it's blatant that he isn't a gentlemen. That he acts in inappropriate way possible. He has woman around his finger tips and shocks them by being the most rude man they've ever met. Now this song says 'I'm a mother father gentleman', but Psy we all know what you mean. Clever way of censoring yourself. But I read your lyrics (I read the translation here.) and man oh man Psy you made me go red in a funny way. So much sexual innuendos. Not only in the music video, when he meets Ga-in in the gym, but in the lyrics too. Yes Psy I'm sure you can make me..yeaah I won't finish that sentence. I do know that you can make me laugh. I think much more than in Gangnam Style.

Now for the dance. Oh Psy...oh Psy yes I know the hip swaying doesn't belong to just Brown Eyed Girls but but c'mon!! I guess you are dancing with Ga-in so it makes okay. Took me three minutes into the song to figure out it was the Brown Eyed Girls iconic dance set from Abracadabra. Yes, there is another horse dance for us fans to follow but I'm laughing more at the fact there are a lot of similarities to Gangnam Style. I'm sure it's because everyone liked it so why not do something similar. Even the man in the yellow suit comes back and the elevator dance appears again in the music video. It's just chalk full of similarities. The point of the song? I guess I would say it means something like that this is reality how gentleman are at least a parody of it. Somehow I don't think it's too far off. I do know there are exceptions to this. But makes for a funny video. Last thing before closing words. The noodle scene!! If I could have a giant noodle like that in my bowl of soup, I think I would die a happy woman. And Ga-in? You just nasty with that...that..eggroll. Yes if you have a dirty mind you'll get what I mean. Sorry can't help it when the music video and lyrics just scream out very naughty things.

Just one thing, Psy is a artist that should be known for more than one song. His other songs are just as great. He is different and does push boundaries and his audience is different. Just remember that as you watch this video.
