Because I Like That

I have to admit with the posting spree of photos I've been doing. I think I want to slow down but I have so much photos to share with you all I can't resist. Today though I'm going back to a k-pop music video review. I hope that's okay with you guys.

I think I'm going to continue the trend of tomboy groups with Glam. When they first debut I paid no heed to them (just like most rookie groups specially the women). What got me into them? First off I was literally bored and looking for new groups to keep me entertained. With several of the big name artists doing other things, it's like hordes of rookie groups have been taking advantage. *coughs* B.A.P *coughs* So the video I introduced myself with was 'I Like That' and first off I was impressed by was one of the members was actually breakdancing. I'm seriously blown away. Not many women in the k-pop industry and attempt a freeze (handstand pose..yeah..) in the middle of the video and show off a set. And what else?? It wasn't another music video where it was all about hips and tushies!

Now the switching from the hip hop and ballad kind of part threw me off but I thought it was cute to add it in. I enjoyed the little comedy scenes in between the sets and retro outfits during 'oooh' parts. And the steak thrown at one of the members was hilarious. The look on her face was like 'what the heck did you just give me?' XD just thinking about it makes me laugh a little. I wouldn't say their style is as crazy as f(x) because their clothes does have a real cohesiveness, but they do push it with some funny accessories.

I've listened to their other songs and I will have to say I would like to keep track of them. Yes, I know I'm biased towards heavy on the hip hop and tomboy groups. But little do you know ...

I guess you just have to come back next week to see what music video I'll review next. I promise this time it will be more on the feminine side.

How should I describe myself? Should I go into a long rant about me and what I like? Or is a list easier for your eyes? I think a small paragraph should do.

Music is my passion with modern Asian music, such as k-pop, j-pop and j-rock etc., writing is my joy and photography is my growing love. Food is the best way to socialize and fashion is my way to know that I put my shirt on correctly.
