The Uni Banquet

I went to prom let's put that out there now. I wasn't those little SDA academy students that had a banquet instead with no dancing. Guys I don't know how you could do that but on last Sunday I got to find out myself. JT took me as his date to his university's banquet (as a friend okay ...we don't roll like that.). The experience was different. I did find it awkward there was no music walking in then I found out they forgot to put it on. Another thing was obvious was the food. Now the food was bland and I was told from JT and his friends food was better in the academy days. Oh and they served meat. Yes meat, cause SDAs are notorious for vegetarian food.

Entertainment is also a staple at these events so this time the university had a film festival which the teenage gentleman won two awards for best song composition and judge's favorite. Did I like the film? I will give my honest opinion since I sort of know him in real life and through his blog. It was very him and a predictable plot. Cute all the same but my favorite was the music. As for the photography, very well done. He knew what he wanted and the greyscale added a nice effect.

So the photos below were taken by a combination of me and JT. The group photo was taken by a random person. I will say the shots by myself were horrible. I don't know how to pose well and having someone directing me that I'm comfortable with would have been nice. JT we should work on that. Otherwise, in my photos I felt rushed so I don't feel great looking at my own face. As for my clothes I'm quite proud I came up with this ensemble. Sooo maybe I should've put a censor bar over my face? Hahaha...on a more serious note looking at the photos makes me realize...I'm fat. Nothing I can do but try to change my habits. Ugh okay enough of that I just have to keep biking even when I don't want to. Just...guys you have it good. Being able to lose weight easily.  Back to the photos. As you can see all our friends are featured so I hope you enjoy. Just ...don't pay attention to me. > <

Sorry if this was rushed. Some of these photos were commissioned to be put up right away. So if you haven't noticed the teenage gentleman was featured again. He's wearing the classic black tie affair attire. I do wonder if that bow was hand tied or pre tied. I know mine wasn't hand tied !! As for my suit I played off my bow tie with my shoes. Which is why I don't have the classic black bow tie. I was happy to hear that the president of the student body had mentioned to me that she wanted to wear a something like me but everyone was expecting that so she changed it up. This made me beam inside because it's really hard being in a crowd of women wearing dresses when your personal style is the opposite gender. And then there's JT who is the boldest of us all coming in very casual pants a different pattern shirt and a knit tie. With horizontal stripes. That's bold. I'm jealous of his facial structure and the fact he can eat a lot and not gain wait. Lucky guy. Overall his look, brings out the unconventional yet conventional to the banquet. That's hard to pull off. I give you props JT awesome.

Three guys and two girls but only one dress!

Only 17...dang
Looks likes a winner.

You do look like a salesmen JT.
Yes it's the back of my head. What of it?
She is just dreamy.

Do I look cool enough?

About

How should I describe myself? Should I go into a long rant about me and what I like? Or is a list easier for your eyes? I think a small paragraph should do.

Music is my passion with modern Asian music, such as k-pop, j-pop and j-rock etc., writing is my joy and photography is my growing love. Food is the best way to socialize and fashion is my way to know that I put my shirt on correctly.
