Unrequited Love K. Will's Boy's Love

Straight up I have to say I am so proud of Asia. When I heard of this song and its video (thank you eatyourkimchi awards) I was like you can't be serious.

First off let's talk about homosexuality in Asia. It's not 'proper' not because of religious reason but more because the family social construct. You get married and have kids. That's that. And I when I mean have children I mean in the typical man does intercourse with a woman and she gets pregnant. As you can see being gay in Asia is difficult cause they 'disrupt' that cycle. By no means do I agree with this. I find it sad to see it that way, but due to culture this is how it is.

And when gay love is shown it's usually to increase the raging hormones of teenage girls. It's all fake love and a gimmick to sell more. There's not a real relationship just fanservice. The ultimate fanservice provided by yaoi manga. Which I've come to view as another stereotypical way to potray gay love which can be inaccurate. I still read it for the lols but I do see the commercial aspect for it.

Onto the music video called Please Don't Go. The artist K. Will I have to admit I've seen his name in articles and not had the chance to look him up. From what I have seen he is a ballad singer. And from what I've heard he has very good vocals. All through out the song we see two guys and a girl. Most people automatically think that it's another girl marrying another guy while the best friend watches sadly wishing he had confessed to the girl. By the end of the video though the best friend was actually pining for the guy, supposedly his friend. I have to appreciate this kind of plot because it's not done before and it doesn't depict the fanservice. It's a genuine boy's love. I hope you guys get a clear idea on my view on this. I do love the video and the music and what I think of homosexuality. That I'm very supportive and have come to learn the difference between the fanservice we see on television and actual real genuine good artistic love on tv.

How should I describe myself? Should I go into a long rant about me and what I like? Or is a list easier for your eyes? I think a small paragraph should do.

Music is my passion with modern Asian music, such as k-pop, j-pop and j-rock etc., writing is my joy and photography is my growing love. Food is the best way to socialize and fashion is my way to know that I put my shirt on correctly.
