Coming of Age...defined as the year Japanese men and women can legally drink and smoke. There is a large ceremony on January 15, for the massive amounts of twenty year olds. And after the party begins. Lately there's been a decline in attendance because of the younger generation's thought there is no point in the ceremony. But for young girls twenty is that one time they are able to wear a luxurious kimono for their families.
Now that we have a small background about two weeks ago my friend turned twenty in America. Sadly she got to miss out on the ceremony. I have no idea if she got to drink or not. With the legal age of drinking in America at twenty one I doubt it. Thanks for inviting me and allowing me to drag you off around the park to take photos. Some of these photos are done by our other friend.
