Why was this a reward? Not for me. The person actually photographed just finished a class of photography. She had asked me randomly after giving back my camera to take A photo of her since she got a new haircut. For me when I saw her one photo was not going to do it for me. C'mon as a photographer I'm never just happy with just one kind of photo. Since this was so impromptu we just drove out to downtown. Now for my complaints...sun! Sun how dare you come out and create harsh shadows. I had to strategically placed my subject in the shade but I can tell in the background was so overexposed.
It's really nice to do a fashion shoot for once in a while. The atmosphere of the shoot is much more relaxed. My model was less stiff and didn't have a set poses to pose in and I could try to bring out other things about her rather than a character. Not that I mind cosplay photography. Just saying it's really different. Maybe that's what I want to strive for in my own cosplay photography rather than just set poses more emotions cause it wouldn't be a good photo without a good face. (By that I mean facial expression.) Oh and the first photo was done by my friend with the help of myself to compose. And no buddy I'm not a pro I just ..study photos and go out and shoot. I'm soooo far from it. Hope you guys like this photo set. What do you guys prefer out of me?
