Challenge Accepted: Post- Processing Flames

Guess you guys are wondering slightly why these are in a separate post? Number one reason is that all this post processing ! Whoo ! Cosplay photography allows me to challenge myself with post-processing effects once in a while. Although, I'm a true believer of just minor adjustments of lighting and color, possibly getting rid of blemishes I just had to take the opportunity to try to push myself more on these two photos. Ao no Exorcist has amazing animations and has to be one of my favorite anime out there. The second to last photo isn't part of that series but I decided to showcase it here because I was just so proud how good that photo came out.

This was quite a challenge and I was thankful for the help and advice I got from various sites such as cosplayphotographers.com and my best friend Ya-kun and even the cosplayer herself. I decided to get some brushes though and play around with them and follow the tutorial on cosplayphtographers.com till I got the effect that I liked. What do you think? I know there are things I need to work on such as placement and editing but it was nice experience even though I spent many hours scared of marking the photo. I keep forgetting I can redo things and paint again. Course it'd be nice to get it right the first time. The last photo I did not put any flames because in the anime I remember full form only happening when Rin pulled out his sword. I could be wrong...it's been a while. But anyways I'm so proud and giddy right now. Thanks for all the support guys ! Hope you enjoy! And Shinomi-chan from Theyearsgonebyliz cosplay thanks so much for allowing me to take photos of you. Hope you like these!

How should I describe myself? Should I go into a long rant about me and what I like? Or is a list easier for your eyes? I think a small paragraph should do.

Music is my passion with modern Asian music, such as k-pop, j-pop and j-rock etc., writing is my joy and photography is my growing love. Food is the best way to socialize and fashion is my way to know that I put my shirt on correctly.
