I obsess about k-pop and the delights of it's visual music video. I squeal in glee over a good looking guy and I'm always in awe what kind of songs can come out of there. Whatever the style I'm just so amazed with what kind of music can come out of another person's language. In this case Korean. This time however I was shown not only an auditory extravaganza but also a visual overload. Not just because of the music video itself but because of the song.
Coffee Shop is an inviting song that doesn't show off how amazing B.A.P dancing is nor does show how good looking they are. There time in America was just shown through this music and presented itself with a nice calm melody. If you take a listen to this song it's not their typical strong, in your face, loud music. It's more calm there's piano in there that was played beautiful. Makes me wonder where's the sheet music for this so I can play it in my own time. And this is a ballad, so there's no high pitch notes that Daehyun usually sings (by the way the song was released on his 21st birthday. Nice gift.) and Zelo surprisingly is singing in this song. I'm not sure if they want him to be a well rounded artist but it was a nice try.
As for the lyrics of this song, it's a total love song. Inviting us to come to their coffee shop. Ahem...not...really. Mostly about a girl they miss and remember the times they hung out at their favorite coffee shop and despite that the man has friends, he's anxiously waiting for her to come back to him. Nice typical love song. Pronunciation of the English was probably okay. A lot could have gone wrong. I think their time in the U.S helped them improve their English. Way to go B.A.P!
Can I say something about the surroundings? I want to travel this music video makes me want to travel and create photoshoots with this type of mood. It's very vintage and old slightly nostalgic. Anyways here's the music video. Check it out.
